Ariel Carlomagno

Born on August 30, 1976 in the province of Buenos Aires. His experience as a professional photographer began in a self-taught way through his travels in Latin America, Africa and the periods in which he lived in Europe and the United States.

In Argentina he founded the content producer Photonomada and was a permanent contributor to Marcopolo magazine.

He made several trips with the mission of offering an approach to the different cultures that populate this planet, developing a particular style always focused on an ethical and respectful commitment to portray with the greatest possible fidelity each of the subjects and their situations. In addition to training in workshops by photographers of the stature of Martin Parr, he has been photo editor of the magazines Marcopolo Argentina, Chilango and Time Out Mexico. He is also a staff member of UNICEF photographers.

His work reached a massive audience with the Postcards of Marcopolo videos, which were broadcast for three years on the National Geographic Channel signal for Latin America.

During the last 15 years he has photographed different regions of the world, with works published in National Geographic and other national and international magazines.

Among his exhibitions stand out the two opportunities in which he exhibited his works Latidos de América and Latidos de México in the prestigious open gallery of Chapultepec, in Mexico City, becoming the first photographer to realize two individual exhibitions there.

Another of its most notable exhibitions was in the year 2010 in the unique setting of the International Cervantino Festival. In November 2013 he presented his book Latidos de México, at the book fair in Guadalajara, which was prefaced by Guadalupe Rivera Marin, daughter of the prestigious painter Diego Rivera.

Repeating last year, within the framework of the XXXI edition, the presentation of a limited edition of the series of Latidos de América by the hand of Hewlett Packard.

Currently, he is working in Latidos del Mundo, his audiovisual content production house.
He has become international spokesman for Hewlett Packard for the printing area and is traveling as an international ambassador for Motorola using the latest technology developed by the brand in its productions.

For Carlomagno, the main commitment is to give back to the people who photograph the generosity that he receives when they allow him to enter the most private part of their lives. He considers himself a messenger of these stories, with the clear mission of helping the voices of all cultures to be hear and recognized.
